Lifestyle & Travel Services

How are you experiencing life?
The quality of your experience matters — it shapes how you show up, how you feel, and what you believe is possible. Lovelux™ works at the intersection of three areas where experience either elevates or diminishes.
Travel & Lifestyle
Your time away should actually feel like time away.
Access & Inclusion
Lovelux™ brings awareness training, sensitivity consulting, and community connection to hospitality, tourism, and travel businesses — so the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community can finally experience the industry the way it was meant to be felt.
The Workplace
Functioning and thriving are not the same thing, and the difference is felt by everyone around you.
That question drives everything Lovelux does.

Leadership Care Intelligence (LCI).
For the person others depend on.
The 5 W's of LCI™
WHO it is for. The person others depend on. The counselor, the educator, the student-services professional, the manager, the DSPS specialist, the frontline mental-health adjacent worker, the leader whose job description quietly includes "absorb what the system cannot." If people say "I don't know how you do it all" — this is for you.
WHAT it is. Leadership Care Intelligence™ is a proactive framework for high-performing professionals — a system of language, practices, and permission to lead and serve from your actual capacity, not from guilt. It teaches you to notice depletion before it becomes a crisis, and gives you the words to protect your reserves without apology.
WHEN to use it. Not when you're already on the floor. LCI™ is for the window before — the quiet weeks when you're "fine, just tired," when you've started catching yourself on the drive home, when "I'll figure it out" is becoming your most-used phrase. The right time to start LCI™ is the week you first wondered whether you need it.
WHERE it fits. In your calendar (The Appointment With Myself). In your language (Capacity-Based language instead of "I'll make it work"). In your 1:1s (naming reserves honestly instead of masking). In your rest (as practice, not reward). LCI™ lives inside the life you are already leading — it does not add a program to your plate, it changes how you carry what is already there.
WHY it matters. Because functioning is not the same as thriving. Because the person others depend on cannot pour from a well they have not drunk from. Because the quiet erosion of over-functioning has a cost — to you, to the people you love, and to the work you were meant to do. LCI™ is the language I wished I'd been handed twenty years ago, built for the professionals holding the rooms together now.
How to use LCI
LCI™ is not a program. There is nothing to complete, no checklist to finish, no 30-day cleanse at the end of which you are "fixed." It is a set of practices you reach for — one at a time, in your own order, at your own pace.
Here is where most people start.
1. Take the Zone Self-Check. Five honest questions. Sixty seconds. You'll know which zone you are living in — LCI, Self-Care, or Healing State — and get the one practice that meets you there.
2. Download the Burnout Boundary Reset. It's free. Three one-line commitments to write in pen and keep visible. Nothing else to do this week.
3. When you are ready for the full framework, the Seven Signature LCI™ Practices gives you all of it — the teaching, the story behind each practice, and the first move you can make.
4. When you want LCI™ in the room, book Dahlene for a keynote, workshop, or leadership training.
That is the whole order of operations. There is no quiz you fail. There is no missing piece. Pick one practice. Keep it for a week. Come back. Pick another.
The LCI™ Zone Self-Check.
A sixty-second evaluation. Five honest questions. The answer: which LCI™ zone you are living in right now, and the one practice that meets you there.
What it is. A diagnostic — not a quiz you pass or fail. The questions ask you to tell the truth about where your energy, your rest, your language, and your mask are today. Not where they were a month ago, not where you want them to be. Today.
What it tells you. Your closest zone — LCI Zone (you are living from capacity), Self-Care Zone (you are catching up on your own needs), or Healing State (you are in true depletion) — and the one LCI™ practice that fits that zone.
What it does not do. It does not diagnose, treat, or evaluate any medical or mental-health condition. It is a language and framework tool, not a clinical assessment. If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or dial 988.
How often to take it. Monthly, at a minimum. Seasonally, if you are between campaigns. Any time the ground shifts — a role change, a bereavement, a semester start, the end of a hard week. The point is not the score, it is the honest check-in.
It is free. No account required. No email asked for just to see your zone. Take it as many times as you need. If the result moves you to want more, the free Burnout Boundary Reset download is one click away
